VOICE COACHING
From an early age, I have been obsessed with the human voice. My journey to becoming a voice coach began when as a young actress I had the good fortune of having Patsy Rodenberg as my first spoken voice teacher. This experience was profound and I became a much stronger actor and more present human as a result of my many years working with her. Since then, I have been fascinated by the profound change that training a voice can create.

Through my training to become a voice coach at NIDA, and in my subsequent professional development I have been fortunate to learn from, and be mentored by, many master voice coaches including, Barbara Houseman (Finding your Voice), Kristen Linklater (Freeing the Natural Voice), Christina Shewell (Voice Work: Art and Science in Changing Voices), Christina Gutenkunst (Voice into Acting), Ron Morris (If in Doubt, Breath out - The Accent Method), Dane Chalfin (The Singers Voice of Reason) and Lessac Kinesensic Training with Robin Aronson and Katerina Moraitis (NIDA, Head of Voice). My voice work is deeply connected to all of these wonderful teachers and, like all voice coaches I am deeply indebted to the work of Cicely Berry, and remain hugely influenced by my time with Patsy Rodenberg.

My unique approach is continually influenced by the latest voice research and insights that science brings to breath, body, mind and spirit. I work in a very client/student centred approach. Once getting to know a client and their voice I tailor the work to suit their needs and goals.
